Bananarama is a crossbody bag that's great for beginners, too. Its banana shape makes it stand out from your everyday bags.

Thanks to the adjustable strap, you can wear it over your shoulder or across your body. The wide 4 cm (1.5") webbing makes it extra comfy to wear.

You'll get the pattern plus an illustrated step-by-step tutorial.

Without the strap, the finished bag is approx. 32 cm wide and 12 cm high at its narrowest point (approx. 12.6" x 4.7"). The bottom is 28 cm wide and 8 cm deep (approx. 11" x 3.1").

Outer fabric (sturdy): approx. 70 cm wide x 50 cm high / approx. 27.5" x 20"
Lining fabric: approx. 70 cm wide x 50 cm high / approx. 27.5" x 20"
Continuous zipper: approx. 40 cm (15.7") long + 2 zipper pulls
Webbing, 4 cm (1.5") wide, approx. 120 cm (47") long
2 rectangle rings, 4 cm (1.5") inside width
1 slide buckle, 4 cm (1.5") inside width
